31 Days of Wisdom

For the next 31 days, I will be dedicating myself to the Proverbs and the wisdom found there. I will be sharing what particularly strikes me. I'd love it if you join me on this journey seeking wisdom.

I will begin tomorrow, March 1st, with Proverbs 1 and read and respond to a chapter per day. I'm excited to see what I will learn!

Our Perfect Day

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights..." James 1:17 I've heard it said that, "Once in a while, in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale".  On December 31st, 2012, the Lord gave me a good and perfect gift.  Nick Giardino, the love of my life, planned a perfect day and the Lord surrounded and protected it with love and beauty. The entire day was a surprise adventure for me.  Nick planned everything with great love and attention to detail.  I met him at his house that morning and we set off for a day I'll never forget.  It was beautiful to be able to rest and trust in him to lead me through the day. Forgiveness

Forgiveness. I've been thinking alot about that word lately. We've been talking about it at church alot and I've batted it around with my friends some. I'm not sure how settled I am on what God expects from me in the arena of forgiveness. So, here are some of my random thoughts.
