I Love How He Speaks To Me
The other day, I was talking to a friend about what's going on in her life. She's in the midst of turmoil and needs to make wise choices. She doesn't know what to do and I didn't have any words of wisdom to give her.
In fact, there were 4 people on my heart that day. In my conversation with my friend, I cried out, in desperation, for words of wisdom from the Lord. About twenty minutes later, I heard this song for the first time: (You can hear it at http://www.myspace.com/sidewalkprophets )
The Words I Would Say
It's 3 in the morning and I'm still awake
So I picked up a pen and a page
And I started writing just what I'd say

I broke into sobs. It's nearly word for word what I pray for one friend and the words my other friends desperately needed to hear. It was truly a holy moment and a word from the Lord. I LOVE that I serve a God who cares enough to answer my cries of desperation with His perfect love.
